Things I'm learning playing doom3
1. Shotgun is awesome
2. Every second armour/health/ammo pickup will trigger a demon warpin from hell.
3. Every alcove (which has armour/health/ammo) will have 2 cabinets, each containing a zombie. This would be bad, except for point 1.

My Flatmate
I haven't recently said anything about how awesome/talented/knows-me-better-than-i-do my flatmate is recently. I'm saying it now.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Halfway through reading this and it's gone from different to offputting to incredibly awesome.

Plus, lazy people suck.

I went and saw star trek. I liked it (also really did like the bad robot bit at the front - it's my *squee* moment). Need to think about it a bit.

Also, lol, 6 months since I last posted.

I hereby proclaim that this week monday to friday don't count. yet to see about the weekend.

Went and saw hellboy 2, which wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

Did see (again) the trailer for watchmen, and it's as awesome as the first time I saw it. Can't wait.

End of an era
I just watch the last episode of the last season of the xfiles (yes, I know how long ago it ended - after season 7 ended i lost interest).

It was good to see the various people reprise their roles, and good to see the xfiles wound up in the way it was, yet leaving mulder and scully to fight the future (now with a couple more sidekicks).

Have missed the run of the xfiles movie at the cinema, but it'll be something i'll grab on dvd when it comes out to see what happens.
